We dig holes for tomatoes and plant some
seedlings of the "Early Girl" variety. These tomatoes were purchased in Paradise, California.
When planting,
you want to bury 3-4 inches of the stem with the rest of the tomato plant. Make sure to pinch off the branches in that area
before planting.
We mix compost and dirt and cover the tomato plant again. As soon as we are done,
we give our plants a good amount of water to help them adjust to their new surroundings.
